Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films typically in the horror and martial arts genres. Her style and approach is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films with a morbid fascination. The reviewer began her journey in late 2009 after becoming well-known in their forum. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) She was then invited to be a part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. At the beginning of 2015, she stayed on the website while Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
