In the film Down Twisted, she made her first appearance in film. Her fame was boosted by her performance in the lead role in Scream. The film was enormously successful commercially and made more than 11 times the budget. The critics also praised the film. She reprised her part in the 3 sequels to the movie. The popularity of her character grew when she played the lead role in the popular sitcom Friends. As a result of her character, she received many awards and nominations. The show was extremely popular and ran for 10 years. For her most recent role, she played an important character as a supporting character in Mothers and Daughters. Her work has been recognized with numerous accolades, such as her the TV Guide Award and Golden Derby Award.
